The more I read about the stimulus plan the more gnawing the pain in my gut. The other day Obama commented that he would ban earmarks on the stimulus plan is laughable. That it gets reported with a straight face is laughable. While there may technically be no earmarks, the bill is larded with expenditures which have nothing to do with stimulating the economy and everything to do with paying off political supporters. And this is change we can believe in???
