Monday Roundup: The Mystery of TITAS, the Audacity of Mediocrity & More

  • A story with a lede that includes “TITAS” is quite inviting. But it’s not what you think. And I still don’t know what TITAS is. I lost interest after I saw the picture of an “all-male dance troupe.” Look, I just don’t need to see things like that on the Internets. Ever. Seriously. Are you taking notes? You better. You know, I can ban you from the Internet. Don’t make me. (It would be a great vanity license plate.)
  • Reading through the list of incumbents and challengers for the Dallas City Council I’m thinking, yeah…Plano was definitely the right move to make. Good night Irene — this is the best Dallas can do? Really? Granted, the Dallas City Council has always been a modest little body — and with much to be modest about — but why not just run a few zombies on the ticket?
  • The man the GOP should have been listening to for the past decade would like a word. (But no, keep focusing on gay marriage and Muslim bogeymen. That’ll win elections.)
