		<description>When I first saw the news about the transfat ban in NYC I though everyone would be shocked and appalled but of course, my college friends all thought it was a good idea.

How are we failing to educate people about personal liberty.  People think if it&#039;s something they would like then it&#039;s a good idea without any concern to the liberties affected.  

Don&#039;t we have enough real problems to solve without the city and state getting into stuff like this?  How bought bringing business back to Dallas?  How about getting the homeless out of my backyard digging through my trash bin?</description>

		<description>The whole transfat issue is considerably overblown to boot.  My rule on nanny state issues is: Any issue on which the media and politicians are in full agreement must bear greater scrutiny.  This is especially true if we are looking at new laws being passed.</description>
