Frankly, I’ve been getting fed up with this supposed sense of decorum that everyone feels we ought to have in the sacred halls of political power. More of our elected representatives need to begin standing up on their hind legs and call out (to use the President’s own words) the SOBs when they keep peddling their BS. if they won’t show a little aggressiveness, then vote them out.
Perhaps a little rudeness now might spare us a lot of grief later.
Huh. Remember when senators were beating each other senseless with canes on the senate floor? I say every Congressman should be required to “conceal carry” while on Capitol grounds/ Choice of weapons will be left up to the individual’s taste.

I like the thought. but we don’t need conceal carry. How about we legalize dueling. That way we can avoid injury to bystanders. If I say something boorish and rude, then my victim has the right to call me out.
Say what you like about the barbarity of dueling, it does create a more polite society.
