The Tea Partiers Who Aren’t Doing It Right

Um, the whole Tea Party thing was about people being fed up with government spending, taxes, and bailouts, right?

Some folks over in Rep. Ron Paul’s district don’t seem to get that. People do want officials who say NO. I do, anyway.

The Tea Party movement was masterminded by GOP operatives hoping to regain some of the party’s conservative-libertarian base.

As the 2010 elections draw near, Tea Partiers will be expected to do the right thing and donate money and pull the handle for the same old brand of hack GOP candidate in their district.

Of course, a certain percentage of Tea Partiers are schizophrenics, Holocaust deniers, and other social malcontents who will never be happy with anything, except ceaselessly attacking the status quo, and obnoxiously pushing their brand of libertarianism on the internet.

Now, here’s Tea Partier Bachmann stating America is “cursed” by God “if we reject Israel.” Agree or disagree?

Knee-jerk Zionism is an integral part of fundamentalist Christianity. This part of the tea party won’t blend well with the secular anarcho-libertarian rednecks.

  4. I try to keep this a free speech zone, but it’s personal property and I don’t have much patience for underachieving white supremacist goons.

So up your game or find someplace else to squat.

Well, you’ve got to admit it’s better than overachieving white supremacist goons. With one lonesome testicle!

  6. LMAO says:

Even Captain America has turned on the teabaggers. LOLOL.

In issue number 602 of Captain America, a new story line has begun called “Two Americas.” In it the current Captain (there have been a few of them, apparently) is on the trail of a faux Captain America that is mentally deranged and getting chummy with some white supremacist, anti-government, survivalists types going by the name of “the Watchdogs.” While investigating this subversive group, Captain America and his partner The Falcon — a black super hero — have decided to try and infiltrate the secretive organization.

In preparation for the infiltration, Marvel Comics depicts the two super heroes out of costume and observing from a rooftop a street filled with what can only be described as a Tea Party protest. The scene shows crowds of people in city streets carrying signs that say, “stop the socialists,” “tea bag libs before they tea bag you,” and “no to new taxes.” Naturally, the people in these crowds are depicted as being filled with nothing but white folks.

  7. Commenter “LMAO” — your links got your post caught in the filter. If a comment doesn’t appear immediately, email me and I’ll get it out of the filter for you.

Also, Marvel sucks anyhow. DC rules.
