John Jay Myers Takes on Michael Moore

Also, is it just me, or does Michael Moore increasingly look like a middle-aged lesbian? IJS.

  1. Amanda says:

Yes, Michael Moore is a middle aged lesbian. Google the greatness of Mike Wilson…

Anywho, I’ve started hearing the “this was insurance reform” mantra from “progressive” leaning folks. Umm. Not really.

The insurance lobby in DC is THE LARGEST and MOST POWERFUL. Either way this rotten oyster slides down the gullet, it ain’t good for America, or Amerika. I used to work in healthcare, and I know what this means practically for average people. It doesn’t help that my husband just went through a (nother 250K) spinal surgery to stay ambulatory.

The most disgusting thing about this whole process was Pelosi describing this as a “right.” Well, great. If it’s a right, then AMMEND the constitution. But, the truth is, it ain’t, so they won’t.

I don’t hardly EVER advocate restrictions on business, but insurance needs a smackdown. This ain’t it. It’s a win-win, and in an industry immune (less the “investment” whole life side) from government regulations (except state level mandates on preventative care).

  2. Carleton says:

The new spin from the left is that the bill is only as bad as it is because the Republicans didn’t do more to make it better:

Jeez, people, if you’d only had the decency to try a little harder to stop me, the multiple stab wounds I’ve just given you wouldn’t be nearly so deep and ragged. I mean, really, you have no one to blame but your own passive, disinterested selves.

  3. Daniel says:

Like if they had a commercial for hemorrhoid ointment and they had a mascot named Henry the Hemmy, it would be played by Michael Moore.

Or if there was a Disney fantasy movie with a character named Shrivelled Old Tit of a Witch.

Or Discarded Beer Bag In An Alley, but that would be more psychological realism.

  4. Frank R says:

Is it true that Michael Moore is really Al Gore’s “love child?”

Term limits would be a good start to cleaning up this mess.

  6. Frank R says:

Gee there is a surprise. Parliament exonerates the scientists largely based on the definition of the work trick.

Seems like the entire basis for the theory has a few flaws too.

  7. Anonymous says:

You libertarinas can sling those ad hominem insults with the worst of them!

  8. Frank R says:

You are entirely correct Anonymous. We should, instead, be critiquing Mr. Moore point of view. But then Mr. Myers already did a pretty good job of that.
