We Need to Shop Around More

Civilized, huh?

So, your point is what, that we’re not getting enough civilization per tax dollar, or is it just more libertarian whining about paying taxes of any kind?

  2. Brandon says:

I believe the point is that taxes are not the price of civilization but the opposite of it. Massive theft to fund and reward incompetence seems pretty savage to me. A “free civilization” which is taxed for the “privilege” of being terrorized by its rulers needs to “shop around.”

  3. Frank R says:

If the amount of taxes paid is a measure of civility, then industries in the U.S. must be the most civilized in the industrialized world as industries in the US pay the highest taxes.

The idea of civilized society is lost on someone who celebrates date rape on his twitter page.

Who the hell are you babbling about Anonymous?

Ummm, nothing about date rape there. I guess the drugs are kicking in, huh Anon?

Really, Dallasite? You don’t see the roofies being poured into the wine glass?

So, in all seriousness, Trey – what’s that about?

You liberals have no sense of humor. What’s wrong with having a little harmless fun?

  10. Towski, I’m pretty sure it’s about how I will seduce your brain with what I call “chemical romance.”

All part of my ontological terrorist agenda.
